南非作家亚历克斯·拉·古玛一生共创作了5部中、长篇小说，且小说中的主人公都以革命者的形象出现。在这些小说中，拉·古玛为这些革命者形象赋予了相似的生存隐喻和不断演进的革命意识，并力图使其对南非反种族隔离斗争的道路进行连续的探索。从整体性视角上看，这一系列革命者形象不仅强化了拉·古玛中、长篇小说之间的联系，更拓展了南非“抵抗文学”的创作方式。而在更深层意义上，这一整体性更揭示了同时作为政治家和作家的拉·古玛对南非种族隔离制度的尖锐批判，对反种族隔离斗争道路的艰难探索，以及对南非革命者的深切关怀。
Abstract：South African writer Alex La Guma has written five medium and full-length novels in his life, and the protagonists in the novels appear in the image of revolutionaries. In these novels, La Guma endows the images of these revolutionaries with similar survival metaphors and evolving revolutionary consciousness, and tries to make them continuously explore the path of the anti-apartheid struggle in South Africa. From a holistic perspective, this series of images of revolutionaries not only strengthens the connection between La Guma's medium and full-length novels, but also expands the way of creation of “protest literature” in South Africa. In a deeper sense, this unity reveals La Guma's sharp criticism of the South African apartheid system, his difficult exploration of the anti-apartheid struggle, and his deep concern for the South African revolutionaries.
